Our fleet, comprising a Britten Norman Islander (twin-engine), a Daher Kodiak 100 Turbo-Prob, and two Cessna Carvans Ex, and a Beechcraft King Air F-90 for executive flights, designed with adequate capacity and best-in-class performance, they earned an excellent reputation for providing safety and reliability.
The Islander‘s design is world-renowned and has an impeccable safety record. Our Islanderis a British legacy, high-wing, twin-engine, capable of take-off and landing on short runways, powered by two “Lycoming” engines that drive constant-speed propellers.

Costa Rica Green Airways is aware that the best instrument in an aircraft is a well-trained pilot focused on providing a satisfying experience to passengers. Therefore, we comply with a training plan in accordance with the strictest international safety standards; pilots with extensive experience, deep knowledge of the Costa Rican territory and its tropical weather conditions are selected.
We are proud on having the highest quality, along with the highest standards in training programs for our pilots. Costa Rica Green Airways has developed an ongoing training and update program for pilots and co-pilots, in accordance with Part 135 of the FAA Regulations. Training includes a procedure refresher course every 6 months, annual procedures capability checks and constant updates on flight conditions each season.
